It all started as Sister Alona's outreach at Purok 16  Carson, she gathers the young kids playing on the streets and read them bible stories, she presents it using puppets that she made out of used stuff toys bought in Surplus stores at china town.  When her outreach was no longer possible to handle alone she sought the help of the young people who at that time were also starting a care group activity.  The YP Dept. leaders decided to group its members and minister to the kids being catered by Sister Alona Cañares and even encouraged them to open new outpost in other areas in nearby communities.

Now the children's outposts (as well call it) have reached to 15, with an attendance ranging from 15-25 kids per outpost.  Evidence of this is the overwhelming attendance during the Party for Jesus 2010.
With this, we face another challenge as our finances are so tight that we need your help to keep this ministry going.  We are constantly challenging the hearts of our brother and sisters in the church to give sacrificially for this noble cause as we continue to win young souls for His Kingdom.  These kids are the next generation of New Life ministers....
